The concept of remnant is a recurring theme throughout both the Old and New Testaments, and its significance is far more important. I fear, in fact, that many actually miss the critical meaning of this concept and its practical (and far reaching) application. In this article, we look first at the precepts (the places where we actually read the word remnant), second, the principle (where we see the concept elsewhere even though term is not used), third, the purpose (the application of what this concept is telling us), and finally consider an impassioned plea.
