Basic Bible interpretation is absolutely vital to the individual believer and is foundational to church teaching because it conditions what a person believes to be true. Without it, there can be no real understanding of God or the world He created. “Principles of Biblical Interpretation” is a two part series presenting 12 basic principles of Biblical interpretation to help guide the reader into being able to discover God’s truth on his or her own. (This will be followed by a representative example using these principles to develop the Biblical teaching on a specific subject in Issue 28.)
