Melchisedec appears suddenly and briefly in the Old Testament, but his special role in Abraham’s life, as well as his significance for the future, makes him an important figure. This study, therefore, presents four aspects of Melchisedec, his: personage, priesthood, permanence, and precedent. We hope this article will be an encouragement to our readers.
